Welcome to the ESL Extension Program at Queen's College. Here you will find information on the steps and courses needed to learn English as a second language, but more importantly, how to become an English speaker and communicator.

The world is more and more becoming a global village where information and knowledge of the “other” is accessible through various mediums. My dedication to this endeavor is to assist various peoples with the knowledge and information to know and understand the “other” and become a participant in that culture. Part of the process is understanding language, English in particular. The ESL Extension program assists students and adults in accomplishing their dreams of acquiring the English language in various levels: beginner, beginner-intermediate, intermediate, Intermediate Advanced, and advanced.

My aim, now, is to create the best learning experience possible. Queen's ESL Extension therefore seeks only the best students especially in the aspect of motivated attitude: hard working, motivated, dedicated and bright. To facilitate this, we have taken every step to make your stay at Queen's a memorable and enjoyable one. Queen's College is a certified TOEFL and SAT testing centre, making it easier for you to write the individual test and become a part of the English speaking world.
